Resources
Our Resources section offers a selection of guides and versions of the code to support both developers and homebuyers. Developers can use these materials to help meet standards, improve processes, and stay informed. Homebuyers can access clear information to understand the code and what it means for their new home.
The Code
Registered developers commit to following the code and the New Homes Ombudsman, including accepting its decisions in all customer matters. If a developer fails to meet these standards or does not act on the Ombudsman’s decisions, the NHQB Discipline & Sanctions Committee will investigate.
The committee assesses whether a breach has occurred and decides on any corrective actions or disciplinary measures needed to uphold the code and maintain trust.
